Pelaj is an Australian based company started in 2004. The mission was to produce a line of quality spear-fishing products capable of taking down the most powerful fish in the ocean. Newport Freedive Company is happy to be part of the growing process (in America) for Pelaj and excited to be a dealer for this exciting company.

The Typhoon features an green anodized aluminum rail barrel, XEN Handle, single 18mm Megatex Power Band, closed muzzle and a 7mm springbock shaft.

The Kanji is Pelaj's "top of the line" model. Standard features include Pelaj's patented Rhino Speed Rail Barrel ( internal rib system plus a specially designed rail which greatly reduces friction on the shaft when shot), XEN Trophy handle (also come with the XEN standard handle), triple 14mm megatex bands with double bridals, Pelaj open muzzle and 8mm Springbok Shaft.

Fig Bag

The Pelaj FIj Bag is a soft sided cooler featuring excellent insulation properties, a drain valve on the lower corner, heavy zipper top, ruler and carry straps. Fig bags can be folded up for easy storage and are excellent for travel (on the ferry to Block) or when space is at a minimum.

Pelaj Bullet Float

These floats are blow moulded from ultra high density self healing EVA foam with integrated keel and threaded dive flag.

Cored with 1000lb Monofilament and high tensile stainless steel clips the Bullet float is “blaze” orange for ultra high visibility.

They are super tough, high quality floats tested to 300ft!

Pelaj Mega Float Line

The Megafloatline is a Bluewater floatline that has been 100% destruction tested in places such as the Coral Sea, Australia and La Paz, Mexico.

This product combines floatline and bungee functionality - each Megafloatline stretches to 1.5 x its relaxed length.

Extruded from ultra durable 10mm self healing PVC and cored with 400KG (880lbs) soft Dyneema the Megafloatline also features high tensile stainless steel plugs, D-shackles, a speed needle for quick stringing and handy mesh bag and strap for storage.
